Redleaf Communications is currently recruiting for a Graduate Graphic Designer to join the team. This Company takes a hands-on approach to delivering bespoke communications programmes to a diverse range of quoted and corporate clients.

We are known for being creative, tenacious, perceptive, meticulous, intelligent and dependable and are looking for an individual who reflects these characteristics. Each member of the team is exposed to a wide range of activities and is expected to take responsibility for delivering results from the outset. You should be a self-starter, good listener and organised.

You will work on a variety of internal products and activities, ranging from internal documents, websites, advertising, displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving Redleaf a visual 'brand'.

You'll work to a brief agreed with senior management, and will develop creative ideas and concepts. The appropriate media and style has to be chosen to meet the internal objectives. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, and deadlines.


You may need to manage more than one design brief at a time and typical activities include:

  • developing design briefs that suit the Company’s purpose;
  • thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design;
  • using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
  • presenting finalised ideas and concepts to colleagues
  • estimating the time required to complete the work
  • working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies;
  • proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
  • demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print;
  • commissioning illustrators and photographers;
  • working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.

Working hours

Your normal working hours will be 40 hours a week. However, extra hours may be required when necessary.


Fixed 3 month contract


We are looking for a graduate who has recently achieved a degree or HND in at least one of following subjects for graphic design:

  • 3D design;
  • communication design;
  • film/television;
  • fine art;
  • graphic design;
  • illustration;
  • photography;
  • visual art.
