Rosenblatt, the independent City law firm, has today announced the promotion of Justin Nimmo to Partner, Dispute Resolution, with immediate effect.
Justin joined Rosenblatt in 2008 and has a proven track record of providing incisive action in both contractual and commercial contentious issues, including company/shareholder disputes, fraud and breaches of fiduciary duty. Justin also has extensive experience in administrative and broadcasting law, including having acted for Ofcom’s forerunner, the Independent Television Commission (ITC), for over three years.
Justin, who qualified in 1997, was previously at Simmons & Simmons where he worked on a range of high profile, complex matters.
This latest promotion takes the number of partners at Rosenblatt to 23. Following the appointments of Nik Haria (Construction and Projects) and Adrian Harris (Head of Insolvency, Dispute Resolution) earlier this year, Justin is the third partner to be announced in 2015 to date.
Commenting on Justin Nimmo’s promotion, Ian Rosenblatt, Founder and Senior Partner at Rosenblatt, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Justin to the partnership. He has demonstrated excellent legal and leadership skills, impressed our clients and is attuned to the future direction of the Dispute Resolution team. I would like to congratulate him on his promotion and thank him for his contribution to the continued success of the Firm.”
In addition to Justin’s promotion, Rosenblatt has announced four Associate promotions, two of which are also in its Dispute Resolution team. They are Philip Minnis (Employment), Melina Whitehair (Real Estate), Kathryn Griffin and Diana Rounce (Dispute Resolution).
