Leading wealth manager Charles Stanley & Co. announces today that its Bedford and Cambridge offices have merged, combining funds under management to £470 million.
Experienced Investment Managers Peter Truswell and Anna Simmonds have moved from Bedford to Cambridge. All clients of the Bedford office have been informed of the move, and there has been no loss of service during the transfer to the new premises. The merger has taken place to streamline overhead costs and further develop the office’s client offerings.
Commenting on the merger, Caroline Craig-Hanson, Branch Manager of Charles Stanley’s Cambridge office, said:
“We are looking forward to working with Peter and Anna in the Cambridge branch, who are well-respected by clients for their investment expertise and bespoke professional approach. The team in Cambridge is hugely experienced and very passionate about client service and Peter and Anna’s skillset will further add to this.
“This merger will ensure we can work on creating an enhanced proposition for clients, and serves as a good opportunity to grow our presence in the Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire region.”
Charles Stanley’s Cambridge office was the first outside London, and opened in 1981.
