Charles Stanley’s Exeter office sponsors first fashion show to be held at Royal Albert Memorial Museum

The Exeter office of Charles Stanley recently sponsored the first fashion show to be held at the Exeter Royal Albert Memorial Museum, as internationally regarded designer Caroline Charles chose Exeter to showcase her 2015 Autumn Winter collection, instead of London Fashion Week.

Staff from Charles Stanley joined clients, supporters of the museum and the fashionistas of Devon for the evening, where they were treated to a catwalk of professional models and quality designs.

Investment Manager Charles Stanley sponsored the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) for this event, held on 13th October. The event was held in Gallery 20, which also displayed the museum’s Fine Art Collection.

Charlotte Lambeth, Investment Manager, Charles Stanley, said: “It felt fitting for Charles Stanley to contribute towards bringing a taste of London Fashion Week to Exeter. It is a real coup for the RAMM to host such a prestigious event, and we are thrilled to have been a part of it.”

Caroline Charles’ designs were classic and beautifully tailored, and showcased this season’s roses and leopard print silks, abstract and oriental damasks, beaded lace, plums and aubergine tweeds, velvet, cord and faux fur.

Designer Caroline Charles introduced the show and said: “When I visited the museum, I was delighted and inspired by their eclectic collections. I was delighted to show our new Autumn collection in Exeter’s marvellous museum.”
